About
About me
I am Seyyed Mohammad Hamidi, an M.Sc. student in Algorithms and Computation Theory at Shahid Beheshti University and a researcher at ComputImm Laboratory.
From control systems to algorithms and biology
My academic path began in electrical engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology, where an advanced programming course sparked a strong interest in computing. I initially pursued control systems and related computational topics before deciding to transition more fully into computer science.
In September 2025, I began an M.Sc. in Algorithms and Computation Theory at Shahid Beheshti University. Through working with Prof. Changiz Eslahchi and joining ComputImm Laboratory, I became interested in using computational methods to investigate biological problems.
My current research activities include B-cell receptor lineage-tree reconstruction and forward/inverse modeling of drug-combination inhibition and dosage. Alongside this work, I develop research software in collaboration with colleagues and supervisors at ComputImm.
My research direction continues to evolve at the intersection of bioinformatics, immunology, and machine learning.
